Our correspondent reliably gathered that the victimized trader was at the market around closing time which was supposed to be 7:30pm when one of the Amotekun slapped him and seize his purse which contains an amount close to sum of eight hundred thousand naira (₦800,000) with one iPhone 13 charger and bunch of key.

An eyewitness who identified himself as Tunde Salako said: “The Iyaloja of the market was at the scene where the issue transpired, no doubt she was the one who masterminds the incident because it was not even up to the usual time we do close when the officers closed the gate and started humiliating those who were at the market.”

Unfortunately, we saw them this morning when they said they co me to arrest the victim again, that’s why we have gathered together to resist the oppression against our colleagues to avert future occurrence .”
