A scathing report by Town Planner Samuel Adelodun Adesokan has ignited widespread outrage over the abandonment of the NITEL Satellite dish in Lanlate. The facility, once a beacon of technological advancement, now lies in disrepair, sparking calls for accountability and action.

Residents of Lanlate are expressing frustration over the neglect of the facility, which they believe has resulted in significant economic losses and opportunities. “This facility was once a source of pride for our community, we demand that the government takes immediate action to restore it to its former glory.”
As the people of Lanlate raise their voices, the nation watches. Experts urge the government to lease or sell abandoned government properties like the NITEL Satellite dish to investors who can put them to better use. “Abandoned government properties pose security risks, serve as hideouts for miscreants, and represent a significant loss of potential revenue,” said Adesokan.
