The Eruwa Muslim community has achieved a significant milestone with the resolution of the prolonged Chief Imamship dispute. This development marks a new era of peace, unity, and cooperation within the community.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola, Ajobo Olurin I, the Eleruwa of Eruwa, has officially announced the appointment of Alhaji Abdulkareem Abdulsalam Olore as the new Chief Imam of Eruwaland. Alhaji Mudashiru Adedeji has been appointed as the Naibul Imam (Deputy Chief Imam), ensuring a harmonious and effective leadership structure.

The decision was reached after a pivotal meeting at the Eleruwa’s residence, attended by prominent community leaders, stakeholders, and dignitaries. The meeting demonstrated the community’s dedication to finding a peaceful resolution to the dispute.

Chief Tunji Fadairo, the Asiwaju of Eruwaland, High Chief Olaide Ojedapo, the Baale of Aborerin, Chief J. Peluola, Chairman of the Eruwa Elders Council, Alhaji F.S Ladapo, Pastor Matthew Ola, Alhaji Adedeji, Tijani Kazeem, President of Eruwa Youth Movement (EYM), Honourable Akeem Akintola Kuso.

The turbaning ceremony for the Chief Imam and his deputy is set to take place on Thursday, June 12, 2025. This joyous occasion will mark a new era of peace, unity, and cooperation within the community.
