Alaafin provides free medical check ups to Palace staffers

Since ascended the throne of his forefathers in less than three months, His Imperial Majesty, Iku Baba Yeye, the Alaafin and Paramount Ruler of Oyo Kingdom , Oba Engineer Abimbola Akeem Owoade 1, has been demonstrating authenticity and honesty reputed of what a dedicated modern ruler needs to be understood, rather than revered.
This puts Alaafin Owoade in a position, where a down to the earth modern ruler needs to be bold, open to change, and command a sense of purpose amongst his staffers, aides and his people .
By communicating purpose and continuously explaining the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’, allows the Paramount Ruler to build a firm foundation of trust, crucial in a contemporary Palace administration
Saying you want the best for someone and actually wanting the best for someone are two totally different things. But the Alaafin means it when he says he wants someone to be happy or successful. He is genuine in all of his wishes and desires for himself, and for others, too.
Our amiable Royal Father genuinely listens to others when they speak, whether it’s a casual conversation or someone leaning on him for support and advice. He values real, meaningful relationships and make an effort to remember things that others tell him.
Everyone has his or her own opinion and view, but when people disagree and opinions clash, it can really get under people’s skin. Instead of getting heated over it, Oba Owoade accepts that two people can disagree and still be friends and get along just fine.

Against this background , Oba Owoade is providing free medical check ups for the Palace staffers.
The checkups will cover blood pressure, temperature , sugar level and other essentials in the body system.
The aim of the gesture was to ensure that workers in the Place, including Aides are physically , mentally sound , hale and hearty for optimal service delivery.
The exercise is being coordinated by the Personal Assistant to the Alaafin, Reverend Dr. Kolade Oladele.
