Seyi Makinde the Dictator: Oyo kingdom not a political experiment, the group tells the governor.
Governor Seyi Makinde with some state actors have conspired to crown some High chiefs in Oyo town in order to cause civil, cultural and political unrest in Oyo State. This move and demonic conspiracy was born out of hatred for Yoruba culture and Alaafin’s throne. The same governor that says “Alaafin’s throne is not for sale” is now planning to destroy the throne. Alaafin’s throne is the pride of all Yoruba sons and daughters globally.
This is not the first time we would see a power-thirsty Governor, towing this path. Anytime a seating Governor feels an influential king loves someone or a party they don’t like, they feel threatened. We are here to state that Alaafin is a father to all parties in Oyo state. The Alaafin is none partisan.
In Oyo traditional system we have the Afobaje(kingmakers) which is the Oyo mesi, Omo Obas(princes) Baba Iyaji (Olori Omo obas), Ọnà ishokun, Ọnà aka etc. How can those who are by culture and tradition princes of Oyo be made kings?
The information reaching us from some people close to the governor is that he has started planning the coronation. The coronation is scheduled to hold on the 13th of February inside Olivet Baptist high school and Ladigbolu grammar school respectively. We also heard from a reliable source that SEYI Makinde plans to invite some traditional monarchs to grace the event: the Ọọni of Ifẹ, Olubadan of Ibadan and other traditional monarchs in other to give the kangaroo coronation some weight.
Governor Seyi Makinde is on mission to destroy Yoruba culture and tradition. His act is what we can call a total rape on Yoruba culture and tradition. Barely a week ago the state government constituted a kangaroo council of chiefs, which was a rape on Yoruba tradition and culture.
The governor in his quest to create more problem in Oyo state, have decided to capture all the chiefs of the Alaafin. He is planning to give them crown inorder to have full control over them and create problem in Oyo land. Seyi Makinde knows that once the house divided, there will be war and problems.
This move by Seyi Makinde, shall destabilise Oyo town, it will bring about unrest in Oyo and its neighbouring towns. This may bring about communal clash, killing, fighting and internal unrest.
We hereby call on His excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Senate president, the Speaker House representatives, the Atorney General of the federation, Director of state security service, the inspector General of police, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Chief Olusegun Osoba and all well meaning Yoruba leaders to stop governor Seyi Makinde from creating problem, hatred and evil that might not go away in the next three hundred years.
