Reversal from Okolomo of Yorubaland to Okanlomo of Ile-Ife Oodua
We acknowledge the decision of His Royal Majesty, the Ooni of Ife, to revert the conferment from “Okolomo of Yorubaland” to “Okanlomo of Ile-Ife Oodua”, in line with the 48-hour ultimatum earlier given by the Alaafin, Iku Baba Yeye, the Titan of Yorubaland.
Our attention has been drawn to the correction reflected across Facebook posts, videos, and other media publications. This step represents a positive and reconciliatory move by those involved in the matter.
As a people, we stand for peace and unity in Yorubaland. We strongly affirm that anything capable of creating unnecessary commotion, discord, or disunity must always be avoided.
