The Kingdom appreciates the quasi judicial role you are playing in resolving conflicts because your platform, KOKORO-ALATE is an alternative conflict resolution forum that is playing crucial rather than immesurable role in sanitizing our society of evil doings. Your multi-various empowerments and poverty alleviation programs which reduce starvation,hunger,crimes and juvenile deliquencies are highly commendable.
Without mincing words,you stand out among the contemporary radio presenters in Nigeria and we are proud of you.
However,investigative journalism which you specialize on requires strict adherence to due process,diligent research,information fact-checking and diplomacy tailored with native intelligence. It is not a gainsaying that all these are innate in you,you only need to make adequate use of them.
We want you to bear in mind that our reactions mean no harm on your personality nor image,it was meant to set the record straight and perhaps change wrong impressions about Ayinla Adegator and our dear town.
We are so convinced that the step would have cleansed any dirt that might have pecked the image of our musical maestro or town.
On this note,Iganna sons and daughters(home and diaspora) are hereby enjoined to forgive and forget the scenario as an accident of history that will open better doors of opportunities for the development of our cultural heritage in our kingdom.
We are always known for our culture of resilience,reservedness, understanding,tolerance and peace and we must not deviate from that now or later. We should shield our swords and embrace peace and harmony to drive wheel of socio-cultural and economic development of our dear kingdom. To err is human but to forgive is divine.
We believe the scenario was orcestrated by our ancestors to serve as a catalyst on the need for wake up call for the indigenes of Iganna, fans and lovers of our beloved Ayinla Adegator of blessed memory to do something tangible to imortalize the legend.
Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat was used by our ancestors to do the needful and this is the beauty of criticism in life. We appreciate his readiness to collaborate with us and the fans of the Apala Icon to immortalize his works while alive.
Conclusively,we pray for the repose of the soul of our Iconic musical pride, Ayinla Adegator and call on his family and fans to join hands with us to sustain his legacy.
