Oyo State – The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) Zonal Office in Ibadan hosted a distinguished courtesy visit today, during which Dr. Stephen Oladapo Adewuni, the Zonal Director, was officially decorated with the esteemed title of African Ambassador for a Drug-Free Society. This honour recognizes Dr. Adewuni’s steadfast commitment to human capacity development and his dedication to empowering individuals to drive positive change within their communities.
The decoration ceremony was conducted by Ambassador Olawale Ojewola, Executive Director and Lead Campaigner for a Drug-Free Society. Amb. Ojewola commended Dr. Adewuni’s exemplary leadership and passion for fostering growth, innovation, and development, describing his recognition as a well-deserved testament to his impact. He noted that the initiatives and programmes implemented by NABTEB under Dr. Adewuni’s leadership have made a tangible difference in the lives of many, adding that the partnership represents a shared commitment to building a healthier and more productive society.
The collaboration will focus on Project 100: Empowering People for a Drug-Free Oyo State, an initiative designed to promote awareness, education, and empowerment as tools for combating substance abuse.
