The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo, has condemned the alleged assault and unlawful arrest of FUOYE union leaders by police officers in Ekiti State. The union accused FUOYE Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abayomi Fasina, of orchestrating the incident and described it as a violation of workers’ rights and freedom of association
